Burton MacArthur
Burton (Twig) MacArthur was a co-founder of Genesis Solutions, which grew to be one of the largest Asset Management professional services firm in North America and a recognized global leader providing technology, engineering, and process improvement services to hundreds of companies. Before becoming a founder of Genesis in 1999 his career spanned decades of management experience in manufacturing. His roles included executive management positions with P&L accountability and responsibilities for sales, manufacturing and support activities.
Prior to joining Genesis, from 1974 to 1998, Burton MacArthur held management and executive positions with Champion International, a $6 billion forest products and pulp and paper manufacturing company. His career has included positions such as VP of Information Technologies, VP of Strategic Planning, EVP of Marketing and EVP of an $800 million Newsprint and Kraft paper manufacturing division.
Burton MacArthur holds an AB from Harvard College and a Master of Business Administration from Amos Tuck at Dartmouth College.
Rob MacArthur
As Executive Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Predictive Service (www.predictiveservice.com), Mr. MacArthur’s responsibilities include developing overall business relationships with key accounts and strategic initiatives for business growth.
Prior to joining Predictive Services, MacArthur was a senior executive with ABS Group serving as Vice President Asset Optimization Services and later as Senior Vice President for the ABS Group Offshore Oil & Gas division.
Mr. MacArthur was a founding partner of GenesisSolutions, a recognized global leader in maintenance and asset management services which provided technology, engineering, and process improvement services to hundreds of industrial companies related to Enterprise Asset Management and Reliability. GenesisSolutions was acquired by ABS Group in 2012.
Prior to starting Genesis Solutions, Mr. MacArthur was Director of Professional Services for MRO Software and served a number of years in this capacity with responsibility for the Americas, Middle East, Africa, and Australia. Before joining MRO Software, MacArthur was an Engagement Manager with KPMG Peat Marwick and an active duty Engineering Officer in the United States Navy.
Mr. MacArthur is a recognized expert in the fields of enterprise asset management strategy, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, Reliability Engineering and Maintenance, and Maintenance Key Performance Indicators.
Mr. MacArthur holds an engineering degree from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from the University of Rhode Island. In addition, Mr. MacArthur is a licensed engineer with the State of Maryland and retired as a Commander in the United States Naval Reserve overseeing the repair, refueling, and maintenance of US Navy nuclear submarines.
Don Frankel
Mr. Frankel currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Predictive Service (www.predictiveservice.com) and is responsible for developing the company’s overall business strategy and the development of strategic and business relationships.
Mr. Frankel’s 18 years of hands-on experience in the electrical and communication industries serve him well in his role as President and CEO of Predictive Service. Mr. Frankel has led Predictive Service to be one of the fastest growing companies in the country. Predictive Service was named to the Inc. 5000 for the last eight years in a row.
Previously, Mr. Frankel was President of Encompass – Cleveland from 1999 through 2001. Prior to this, Mr. Frankel was President and CEO of El-O Electric Company and Executive Vice President of Pro Net Communications Company for 15 years. Don led the sale of both companies to Group Maintenance of America, a publicly traded company with $1.5 billion in annual sales.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Frankel graduated from Ohio State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minor in labor management. Mr. Frankel is also a graduate of the Encompass Leadership Institute, a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) and a 2007 E&Y Regional Finalist for Entrepreneur of the year
Bob Fei
Mr. Fei currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Life Cycle Engineering (www.lce.com), a provider of reliability engineering and condition-based monitoring solutions since 1976 that deliver lasting results for private industry, public entities, government organizations and the military. Life Cycle Engineering came into existence in the 70s extending the asset life cycle of the U.S. Navy’s nuclear submarine fleet. The goal was to enable all critical ship systems to achieve their full potential.
Prior to joining LCE in 2002 as a Reliability Solutions Consultant in the Reliability Consulting Group, Mr. Fei worked as a consultant, manager and business analyst at companies including Ernst & Young, Anderson Consulting (now Accenture), and Niku Corporation (now part of Computer Associates.)
Mr. Fei received a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California. Mr. Fei is a Professional Engineer registered in South Carolina.
Jim Desrosiers
Mr. Desrosiers has over 25-years of Automation Software experience. A recognized expert in End-Users and Systems Integrations working with the technologies such as SCADA, PLCs, MES, ERP, Relational Databases, Business Intelligence and Industrial Internet of Things. Mr. Desrosiers has a successful track record in delivering Manufacturing Efficiency (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), Energy Efficiency, and Maintenance Resource Deployment Efficiency to a wide variety of clients in North America. Mr. Desrosiers is known as JimD in the industry and often called in to help with projects with a level of complexity that may uniquely require his substantial experience with Automation Software deployment. He has extensive experience working closely with local Systems Integrators in the deployment of these complex projects. Prior to Data Acuity, Mr. Desrosiers worked at Iconics Software, Schneider Electric, Standard Electric and TVC Systems.
Mr. Desrosiers holds a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston.
